Welcome, Sojourner

A refuge carved deep
in the slot canyon.

You've crossed the threshold, and the world you knew falls away behind you — drawn through the liminal hush into La Cueva, where travelers weary from the road outside come to gather around the glowing stone.

A kitchen built for the weary traveler. An original cocktail program, developed in-house. Live music every night the doors are open.

The room on a full night

The World of La Cueva

Inside the cave,
time works differently.

The carved lamp against the glowing onyx wall

The Threshold

Before you see the bar or the dining room, you cross a passage carved into the rock. The outside world is left behind. That transition is not accidental — it is the first act of the evening.

The glowing onyx bar at the centre of the cave

The Stone

At the center of the cave glows the Stone — a source of vitality, warmth and life. The light is warm and amber, pressing against raw rock. Mysterious, electric, and full of life.

A Keeper behind the bar, mid-service

The Keepers

Every table has a guide. Warm towels infused with aromatic essential oils. A menu you are led through, never left alone with. The cave works when every part of it is alive.

The Kitchen & The Bar

Nourishment for
the weary traveler.

Every drink is a remedy — crafted with purpose, presented with story.

The Cave

A paradox of
ruin and beauty.

La Cueva is built on the idea of liminality — that space between two worlds, where the noise of the outside falls away and something else becomes possible.

A plate set on carved stone

The Kitchen

Not fuel —
nourishment.

Every plate is set to nourish those who find their way to La Cueva. Food for travelers weary from the road outside, served the way the cave would serve it.

The menu moves from plates built for the road — milk bread, goat cheese croquettes, tuna tostada, pulpo — through mains rooted in craft and comfort, and closes in sugar and smoke.

The Bar

Every drink
is a remedy.

The cocktail program is a La Cueva original, developed in-house and rooted in the world of the cave. Every drink is a remedy — crafted with purpose, presented with story.

The list is built in two movements: the Keeper's Remedies, our signatures, and the Timeless Originals — the classics, done the way they were meant to be.

A Keeper’s Remedy glowing on the stone pedestal

The Journey

What happens
when you arrive.

The Threshold

You are received at the mouth of the cave. The passage does the rest.

To Your Table

A Keeper greets you at the door and guides you to your table.

The Welcome Ritual

Compressed towels bloomed tableside in hot water infused with essential oils. The first gift of the cave.

The Guiding

We do not hand you a list of options. We offer you a path through the story — plate by plate, remedy by remedy.

The Night

Live music, every night. The room finds its rhythm and you stay longer than you planned.

We're glad you found us. Here, you rest. Imbibe, and let a drink quiet the thirst.

Welcome, Sojourner

Before You Come

What the cave asks
of its Sojourners.

Not rules for their own sake. Each one exists so the room stays what it is — and so you know what the night asks of you before you cross.

Business Hours

Sunday · the cave rests.
Twenty-One & Over
This is an evening room for grown travelers. Twenty-one and over, every night, and a government-issued photo ID at the door — bring it even if the Keepers know your face. No ID, no passage.
Dress
The cave receives those who come with intention, and the code is how we keep the room what it is.
  • Hats allowed — no caps or baseball caps.*
  • No athletic or workout apparel — including, but not limited to, sweats and jerseys.
  • Dress shorts only. No cut-offs, athletic shorts, denim shorts or swimwear.
  • No camo pants or shorts.
  • Collared shirts are preferred for men.
  • No tank tops or undershirts — all men's shirts must have sleeves.
  • T-shirts must be a solid colour, with no logo or printing.
  • All attire must be properly fitted — nothing excessively tight or oversized.
  • * Dress code at the restaurant's discretion.
Your Reservation
We can only hold your table for twenty minutes past the reservation time. After that we are forced to release it, and the reservation is set as a no-show. If you arrive later than that, we will do our best to accommodate you on a new reservation — but please do your best to arrive on time.
Your Table
The passage through the cave runs on a set time, so that every Sojourner gets to make it — all of us, a few at a time.
Up to 4 travelers — 1 hour 45 minutes.
5 to 8 travelers — 2 hours.
9 or more — 2 hours 30 minutes.
Counted from the hour of your reservation. Time enough to eat, to drink and to hear the room. The bar keeps no clock — it stays open to you long after.
The Bar
First come, first served. No reservations, no call-back list. If there is a wait, the waiting is done with a drink in hand.
Eight or More
Parties of eight and above do not open on the online booking — write to us and we will design the evening by hand. Those tables are held with a card on file. Nothing is charged; it is only how we keep a table from sitting empty.
Gratuity
A 20% gratuity is added to every table of six or more, and to all service at the bar. It goes, whole, to the Keepers who tended your night.
Service
We reserve the right to end service to any guest who appears intoxicated, who is disrespectful to our Keepers, or who makes the Sojourners around them uncomfortable. It is never a judgement — it is how the cave stays a place worth returning to.
Allergies
Tell your Keeper. We ask every table, every time — but tell us early and the kitchen will build the night around it.
